We received our work assignment this morning!
Due to the bad weather LAST WEEK in New Orleans our team will be pouring foundations for new home construction. We have been told to bring work boots and work gloves along with sunscreen ~ I hope that means the sun will be shining. Weather reports say it will be 80 when we arrive tomorrow.
It has been years since I have worked on a house and poured a foundation. I remember cement up to my knees and shoveling what seemed like a ton of heavy and wet cement.
What an adventure we will have ~ Kelly found us a Voodoo Tour ~ yikes....
